Mr. Tiesi has been the CEO of Silverpeak Argentic since 2013.  Prior to that, he reestablished the US real estate business for the Royal Bank of Scotland (“RBS”) in 2009 after returning from RBS’s London office.  In 2010, Mr. Tiesi engineered and executed RBSSI 2010-MB1, the first multi-borrower CMBS transaction since the financial crisis.  The $300 million transaction was widely recognized as a key catalyst for the revitalization of the CMBS conduit market. RBS originated over $9 billion in Commercial Real Estate loans under Mr. Tiesi.  Key transactions included 666 Fifth Avenue retail condos, Garden State Plaza, Domain Mall, and Mission Viejo mall. Mr. Tiesi was recognized as number twenty-one on the 2013 Commercial Observer's 50 Most Important People in Commercial Real Estate list.

Previously, Mr. Tiesi ran the RBS real estate finance business in Europe which had over $20 billion of real estate debt and equity positions under management and over 100 employees.  Prior to RBS, Mr. Tiesi established the Structured Real Estate Capital group for ABN AMRO bank.  Mr. Tiesi engineered the first cash multi-borrower CMBS transaction backed exclusively by German commercial real estate.  At its peak, ABN was the third largest CMBS loan securitizer in Europe.

Prior to ABN AMRO, Mr. Tiesi headed the European real estate finance business for Credit Suisse.  He began his career at Deloitte and Touche, LLP focusing on structured products as a member of the Collateralized Mortgage Obligation team. Mr. Tiesi earned a B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University in 1993.

Mark Walsh is a managing member and founding partner of Silverpeak Real Estate Partners ("Silverpeak Partners"), focused on the firm’s strategic initiatives, origination activities and also serves as the Chairman of the firm’s real estate commercial lending platform. Under the combined leadership of Messrs. Bossung and Walsh, Silverpeak Partners has invested in more than 128 separate transactions, aggregating over $8.0 billion of gross real estate assets in the US.

Prior to founding Silverpeak Partners, Mr. Walsh was Head of Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group and Co-Head of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity, where he participated in over $20 billion of principal equity investments and over $200 billion of debt investments on behalf of the firm and its institutional investors.  During his 25 years of serving in these capacities, Lehman Brothers grew to be a leading debt and equity investment platform both domestically and globally.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Walsh was a lawyer and represented financial institutions in all aspects of commercial mortgage loan origination, workouts and secondary market transactions. Mr. Walsh is also a Founding Member of the Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross (1981) and a J.D. from Fordham Law School (1984).

Brett Bossung is a managing member and founding partner of Silverpeak Real Estate Partners ("Silverpeak Partners"), responsible for the overall operations and management of the firm, as well as overseeing the origination, structuring and asset management of all of Silverpeak Partners real estate investment activities.  Under the combined leadership of Messrs. Bossung and Walsh, Silverpeak Partners has invested in more than 128 separate transactions, aggregating over $8.0 billion of gross real estate assets in the US.

Prior to founding Silverpeak Partners, Mr. Bossung was the Global Co-Head of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity Business overseeing the firm’s real estate private equity and real estate mezzanine lending activities.  Prior to joining Lehman Brothers’ Real Estate Private Equity Group, Mr. Bossung was a senior banker in the Global Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he was involved in a broad range of financial advisory/M&A assignments, asset dispositions, initial public offerings and single-asset and pooled CMBS transactions.  Mr. Bossung also spent three years in the Real Estate Equity Capital Markets Group, where he was responsible for structuring equity related transactions and coordinating all real estate equity-related offerings.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Bossung worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. During his 25-year career, Mr. Bossung has been involved in over $25 billion of real estate transactions.  Mr. Bossung earned a B.A. from Drexel University in 1985 and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1990. Mr. Schulte is a real estate professional with over 12 years of capital markets and commercial real estate lending experience.  Prior to Silverpeak, Mr. Schulte was a Director at Jefferies LoanCore LLC (“JLC”) beginning in 2010. At JLC, he originated in excess of $500 million in fixed rate and floating rate debt and worked extensively on securitization and distribution with securitization partners in five separate CMBS transactions.  He also acquired approximately $300 million of whole loans, b-notes and mezzanine loans on behalf of a LoanCore led private equity fund. 

Prior to JLC / LoanCore Capital, Mr. Schulte was a Vice President and member of RBS Greenwich Capital’s securitization team until 2008.  He oversaw the day-to-day distribution of $1 billion in subordinate commercial real estate debt from 2006-2008, worked extensively on the securitization and syndication of fixed rate loans through the “GG” program between RBS and Goldman Sachs and coordinated the rating and structuring of RBS led CRE CDOs. 

Mr. Schulte earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in real estate finance from Columbia University and a B.A. from Yale University.

Mr. Burke joined Silverpeak Argentic in December 2014, establishing a Central US presence for the company. Previously, Mr. Burke spent 15 years at RBS and its predecessor Greenwich Capital in a variety of roles. Most recently, Mr. Burke had dual roles of Head of Originations for RBS’s CMBS originations team, as well as Head of the US CRE Portfolio Management & Restructuring for the Noncore Division. In the originations role, Mr. Burke built out and led the originations team following the re-establishment of RBS’s CMBS lending program in 2010; RBS originated in excess of $10 billion during his tenure. In the restructuring role, Mr. Burke led the team responsible for the successful exit of a $5.5 billion portfolio of legacy commercial positions in the US.

Prior to joining Greenwich Capital, was an originator in Nomura Capital’s original CMBS lending group. Prior to Nomura, Mr. Burke worked as attorney in Kaye Scholer’s real estate group. Mr. Burke has an A.B. from Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Science and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Mr. Sweeney has been actively involved in the real estate industry for over 20 years holding positions with privately held investment firms, publicly traded REITs, and global investment banks.  Most recently, Mr. Sweeney was Head of Underwriting for the CMBS lending program at Royal Bank of Scotland.  Having joined RBS in 2010 commensurate with the reopening of CMBS investment market, he was responsible for developing comprehensive underwriting standards, credit review processes, and ultimately managed a group of 25 professionals.

Previous positions include Director of Acquisitions at Alliance Private Capital, a boutique real estate investment company, where between 2008 and 2010 he was instrumental in structuring and closing over $900 million in asset acquisitions and debt financings.  Mr. Sweeney was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for successfully underwriting and closing over $14 billion in loan transactions. Mr. Sweeney was a Vice President at Lend Lease REI where he was responsible for negotiating transactions on behalf of commingled opportunity funds and separate pension fund accounts. Mr. Sweeney was an acquisitions officer with CPP REIT, highlights of which included participating in taking the company public on the NYSE and helping to complete over $3.5 billion in acquisition transactions.

Mr. Sweeney completed his MBA and BSBA in Real Estate Finance from Old Dominion University and received the CCIM designation from CIREI.

Prior to BSP, Mr. Gluck spent ten years at LNR Partners (“LNR”), a Starwood Property Trust company, most recently as a Senior Vice President and leading member of LNR’s b-piece buying team. Mr. Gluck oversaw the day-to-day underwriting and due diligence of b-piece investments, non-performing loan portfolios, and managed the investments of LNR’s CMBS portfolio. During his time at LNR, the firm was a leading b-piece buyer and the largest commercial mortgage special servicer in the U.S.. Mr. Gluck also managed LNR's Analyst Rotational Program and was extensively involved in the process and eventual $1.05bn sale in 2012 to Starwood Capital Group and Starwood Property Trust.
